The Penn State 阿尔图纳 校友 Society and the Blair County Multidisciplinary Investigative Team (MDIT) will host the second annual Community for Kids Golf Tournament Friday, 8月. 12 at Sinking Valley Country Club in 阿尔图纳. The tournament begins at 9 a.m. with breakfast and registration at 8 a.m.
Individual golf registration is $125 and includes breakfast, the tournament, and post-tournament lunch and awards reception. Former Nittany Lion football and NFL player Lydell Mitchell will take part in the tournament and attend the 8月. 11日接待.
Proceeds from the tournament benefit the Blair County MDIT and the creation of a Child Advocacy Center Model in Blair County, as well as Penn State 阿尔图纳 Intercollegiate 体育运动, and the Penn State 阿尔图纳 校友 Society scholarship program.
The Blair County MDIT is a group of professionals who work to effectively and efficiently investigate child abuse cases, utilizing evidence-based practices in an effort to reduce trauma to child victims. 去年, the tournament raised $4,000 toward the development of a Child Advocacy Center Model in Blair County through the Blair County MDIT.
